Creative Cloud Event#1 – LVAUG Presents Adobe Creative Cloud Event on 7/9/14
On July 9, 2014 at 6 pm, The Innevation Center will be hosting the Adobe Creative Cloud Event, organized by the Las Vegas Adobe Users Group.
“Adobe evangelists are here to show the latest innovations added to Adobe Creative Cloud since CS6,” the event description reads. “Come and learn about the hundreds of innovations in products like Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC that will make everyday tasks easier and faster. See firsthand how desktop apps, mobile apps, files, community, and even new creative hardware all work together — allowing you to bring your ideas and work together seamlessly.”
The team at The Innevation Center says this event includes networking, presentations by Terry Ryan and Chana Messer, and a Q&A session at the end, as well as snacks, wine and beer, and a prize raffle.
 
#2 – Tech Talk Tuesday: Facebook’s Slingshot Challenges Snapchat with “Reply To Unlock”
This week, The Innevation Center team explored Facebook’s new app, Slingshot. “Though it’s similar to Snapchat, Slingshot’s main difference from Snapchat is its reply-to-unlock feature. In order for the recipient to view the sender’s photo, the recipient must first send his or her own photo to the sender,” they write. Get the full story here.
#3 – Guinn Center Hosts “Building the Infrastructure of Opportunities for Latinos in Nevada”
On June 30, 2014 at 8 am, the Guinn Center for Policy Priorities will be hosting Building the Infrastructure of Opportunities for Latinos in Nevada at The Innevation Center.
“Come find out about innovative policies that can help Latinos graduate from college, be prepared for high tech jobs, and get access to capital. Seating is limited so RSVP here,” the Innevation Center team writes in this blog post.
