1 Million Cups (1MC) is a simple way to engage entrepreneurs in communities around the world. Each week, the 1MC program offers two local entrepreneurs an opportunity to present their startups to a diverse audience of mentors, advisors, and entrepreneurs.
Presenters prepare a 6 minute educational presentation and engage in 20 minutes of feedback and questioning after they present. Entrepreneurs gain insight into possible ways they can improve their businesses, gather realtime feedback, connect with a community that truly cares about their progress, and walk away feeling like they have advanced their business.
The audience also learns a great deal from the presentations. Whether this is through passively listening or deeply engaging with the entrepreneurs, there is much to learn every week from these dynamic and diverse communities.
Phil Randazzo wants to bring 1MC to Las Vegas and is stepping into the Las Vegas Organizer role.

Phil Randazzo says the event brings together the entrepreneurial community to share insights, create partnerships and foster an environment of sharing.
“1MC is place to go when being an entrepreneur can become a lonely endeavor,” he said. “Attendees receive support and encouragement.”
Phil Randazzo is bringing 1MC to Las Vegas because he found the event has a great atmosphere.
“The Las Vegas community would benefit from this event,” he said. “I need the community’s help to encourage the entrepreneurial community to attend and let other entrepreneurs know what VegasTech has to offer.”

About 1 Million Cups: Developed by Kauffman Labs for Enterprise Creation, and refined by entrepreneurs around the world, we’ve created an educational program that holds the key to activating your city’s community of entrepreneurs through online curriculum, coaching and experiential learning. The program is run of, by and for entrepreneurs–a dedicated group of startup community organizers in each active community volunteer their time to organize a promote 1 Million Cups each week. Teams of organizers license the 1 Million Cups toolset from Kauffman Labs for free, and events are run semi-autonomously. We’re as grassroots as it gets–hosting our events out of coffee shops, TV stations, universities, and community centers.
