Bungalow Clothing launched its an online, high-end personal styling service for women. The online shopping destination, co-founded by CEO Rob Wright, president Jonathan Snyder, VP of merchandising Meital Bronstein and singer John Legend is transforming the e-commerce experience for the higher-end female shopper by combining all the best elements of offline retail shopping into an online experience.
Through state-of-the-art technology and a team of seasoned personal stylists, Bungalow Clothing individually curates “dressing rooms” for customers with styles from brands including IRO, J Brand Chaser, David Lerner, Ramy Brook, AG, and many more. Unlike other online shopping experiences, customers get to try on their selected items at home before deciding whether or not to purchase them. Returned items are picked up from the customer’s home or office by simply sending a text message to the company and the customer is only then charged for the items they choose to keep.
“We are excited to announce what women have loved about the Bungalow Clothing experience from the beginning – access to high-end brands in the most convenient way imaginable – and make the experience even richer with our one-to-one personal styling service,” says Bungalow co-founder John Legend.
“I’m proud of the great traction and positive reaction we’ve generated so far and am excited about this announcement,” said Rob Wright. “Our personal styling service guarantees that Bungalow Clothing customers will get the same high-quality shopping experience online that they would in a luxury boutique but now in the convenience of their own home.”
Bungalow Clothing recently closed a round of funding led by existing investors VegasTechFund, the venture arm of Downtown Project which is principally backed and run by Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos.com.
