In Fall 2014, the Department of Computer Science at UNLV will be offering three courses for people who are interested in building large-scale database-driven websites.
The first course introduces students to object-oriented programming with Ruby. The second and third courses will provide details of building agile websites with Ruby on Rails, CSS, and web data processing with SQL or NoSQL languages.
CS 140 : Programming with Ruby
Prerequisite: Open to all students
CS270/CS270L: Web Development with Ruby on Rails
Prerequisite: CS 140 or knowledge of a high level programming language
ITE 451: Database Programming
Prerequisite: Knowledge of a high level programming language
