The first ever Microsoft Ready comes to Vegas, July from the 17th – 21st. Note that Microsoft Ready is a closed event and is only open to current Microsoft employees. We’re telling you about it because it’s really cool.

What Is Microsoft Ready?

Microsoft Ready is an education and networking event for Microsoft employees. It evolved from their previous MGX, S4, and TechReady conferences.
Each conference was aligned towards different roles within Microsoft

    • Solution Specialists – S4
    • Sales and Marketing – MGX
  • Technical roles (software engineers, etc…) – TechReady

Microsoft Ready continues focusing on these 3 roles, but now all in one event as a result of Microsoft’s One Microsoft mission.

Where Will It Be Held?

The event will be hosted across 4 different hotels on the Strip:

    • The Mirage
    • Aria
    • MGM Grand Garden Arena
  • the Venetian | Sands Expo.

What Will Be Covered?

Each day will begin with a keynote presentation by a senior executive, followed by breakout sessions for the remainder of the day.
The sessions include presentations, panels, workshops, deep-dive learning sessions, specialized training, and hands-on or instructor-led labs.
Topics for these sessions are too many to list, but here’s a little taste:

    • Business Intelligence
    • Artificial Intelligence
    • Cloud Infrastructure
    • Cloud Application Development
    • Cybersecurity
    • Project Management
    • Data Platforms
  • Internet of Things

There will also be a huge “Celebration Night Event” on Wednesday, July 19th, at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. It’ll be packed with rides, games, and live music. This event is only open to registered Ready attendees, who can only be Microsoft employees, so it’s sort of an elite nerd carnival.
This is going to be a huge event with over 20,000 Microsoft employees from around the world planned for attendance!

Is Vegas Ready?

You bet!
One of the reasons Vegas was chosen as the destination is because it’s uniquely suited to host a gathering of this size.
This is an event for Microsoft full time employees only.
