Terry JicinskyThis month’s CommunityCation Luncheon hosted by The Innevation Center will feature Terry Jicinsky, Senior Vice President of Operations at Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
The entire Southern Nevada economy is heavily dependent on the hotel, gaming, and convention industry, which employs more than one-quarter of the county’s labor force. The viability of the economy in Clark County is dependent upon the volume of visitors to the region.
Jicinsky and his team at the LVCVA provide a vital service for the public by contributing to the growth of the economy in all of Southern Nevada. The LVCVA’s marketing efforts cover all of the more than 162,000 hotel and motel rooms in Southern Nevada.
Jicinsky will share the long-term vision and plans for the Las Vegas Convention Center. He will also tell the audience how the expansion and renovation of the convention center will solidify Las Vegas’ position as the number 1 trade show destination in North America.
