The team at Work In Progress is excited to announce a new program they have partnered with to help growth opportunities in new cities and build VegasTechFunded teams’ networks.
The program, called Startup Exchanges, is an initiative by 50 Partners along with several leading incubators around the world. The program’s goal is to facilitate international development for startups.
“Work In Progress is now a Startup Exchanges location, which means VegasTechFund, Progression Labs and Mill teams have the ability to travel to any of the other locations (accelerators around the world) and work out of their spaces, participate in their programs events and get plugged into their startup community,” explained Sara Hill, Director of Entrepreneurship at Work In Progress. “You can spend a few days or a few weeks at any of these locations. Workspace and events (and in some cases accommodations) will be free!”
In exchange, teams from partner accelerators are invited to spend time in Las Vegas working out of Work In Progress and checking out the #VegasTech startup community.
Sara Hill said Work In Progress got involved in this program in an effort to provide more resources for growing startups.
“This looked like a great program to help support teams who want to enter new markets and build their networks,” she said. “We hope that startups from partner accelerators and incubators around the world will come spend time experiencing our tech community.”
