#1 – Get Involved with GiveCamp
On August 8 – 10, 2014 Vegas GiveCamp is coming to The Innevation Center.
“Last year, 50 volunteers participated in helping 18 local charities by donating their time and skills to building software to help the organizations succeed. Let’s make 2014 EPIC by doubling the number of volunteers this year! We can do it! Let’s collaborate!” The Innevation Center team wrote on their blog. “In case you hadn’t heard, The Innevation Center donates office and meeting space for several nonprofits and loads of awesome Meetups*. Together, with your help at GiveCamp, we can co-win and help Nevada become an even more awesome place! If you’ve ever wanted to give back but weren’t sure how, GiveCamp is a wonderful place to start.”
GiveCamp is a weekend hack-a-thon that brings technology and marketing professionals together who donate their time and talents to build software solutions for local nonprofits from apps to databases and donor management tools to web sites.
#2 – Demo Your Startup at Tech Cocktail’s Mixer
